On November 12, as part of #NavyWeek2022 celebrations, #NSRY Karwar hosted a ‘Station Musical Evening.’ Over 2000 naval personnel, Defense Civilians, and their families attended the event. The Musical Evening by the Karnataka Naval forces in an annual event which is much anticipated by the attendees at the base. The event was hosting by Ms Malitha Fernandes & Lt Karan Chellani from the Karnataka Karwar Naval Base.
The musical evening included a mix of in-houses performances from the talents at the Karnataka Naval Base, local talents and celebrity performers that traveled from across the country. The evening even witness the performance for the Indian Naval Band that have had the honor to travel around the world and perform in France, Singapore, Germany, South Africa to mention a few. Mr Khyali (The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and Comedy Circus fame), Mr Sahil Solanki(From India Idol & Sa Re Ga Ma Pa), and Ms Vinti Singh(From Bharat Ki Shaan) were amongst the professional artists who performed at the enthralling event.
The event was put together and managed by We Rock Events & Entertainment who have a vast experience when it comes to managing such events with the Indian Armed Forces. Finally the evening was concluded with the all artists, on stage and back stage representatives being honored by RAdm Atul Anand, FOK, and Mrs Goolrukh Anand, President, NWWA (Kar), as well as the National Anthem.
